FRESHMEN CLASS 2029
Making an Impact
Playing as a Freshman- If you come in and make an immediate impact, make plays, learn our system, go to class, stay out of trouble, and you are coachable, you could earn playing time on VARSITY. Yes, FRESHMAN can play on this team.
One Standard- We don't have two separate standards for freshmen and varsity. Our system is singular. You will learn what we do as a team and be held accountable to the same standards as the everyone else.
Freshmen Team- At practice, there will not be a separate practice for the Freshman. Because you will learn our system, you will practice, compete, and learn with our varsity team. This gives our coaching staff an opportunity to observe you and determine if you are ready to help us on Friday nights. Every position is OPEN, come get one!!!
Freshman Staff- Our varsity staff will coach the Freshmen games. I will personally be present at the Freshmen games. Remember, there is ONE STANDARD!
Freshman Camp- Finally, on June 2nd and June 3rd from 7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. We will do our freshman camp. This gives our coaching staff time with you before the upper classman come in. We can evaluate you with Freshmen getting all the reps.
Let's Build Together
We are excited to announce that our Freshmen Orientation will be held on March 4, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. We would love to meet the incoming freshman class as you prepare to come to high school next year. There are so many exciting things happening at LHS that will be announced soon. My coaching staff and I are excited that you are joining the Wolverine family. Class of 2029 will be our first Freshman class, my first year as Head Coach and your first year in high school. We will bloom and blossom into a championship team TOGETHER!
Freshman Camp
This year, freshman camp will start June 2-3rd, 2025. We will start at 7:30 a.m. in the weightroom of Lavergne High School.
Please ensure you are in Final Forms and have updated your physical before coming to Freshman Camp.
